COPPER ENTERPRISES <br /> 12470 LOCKS ROAD, LOCKEFORD <br /> LOP CASE# 000689 <br /> CVRWQCB CASE # 391082 <br /> APN: 05132010 <br /> 02/27/89 The San Joaquin County Environmental Health.Department (EHD) received <br /> notification from the Central Valley Regional Water.Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) that there were unregistered underground storage tanks (UST's) at <br /> this site on this date. <br /> 03/28/89 On this date the EHD was informed that the owner,US Gasohol, had filed <br /> bankruptcy. <br /> 11/10/93 After a fire at the abandoned property, the EHD received a letter with this date <br /> from a potential buyer stating that US Gasohol had filed bankruptcy in 1984 and <br /> that there are two UST's on site. <br /> 04/24/98 The abandoned property was purchased by Copperford LLC on this date. <br /> 02/25/99 On this date the EHD issued a Closure Permit for two USTs at the site: one <br /> concrete vault containing fuel oil and one 500 gallon UST containing gasoline. <br /> 08/20/99 On this date the 500 gallon gasoline UST was removed under EHD inspection. <br /> Soil samples were collected at 8 feet below ground surface (bgs) and from the <br /> stockpile of soil generated during the removal. The soil sample results at 8 feet <br /> bgs were: 690 mg/kg of TPH-G, 0.15 mg/kg Ethyl Benzene, and 1.1 mg/kg Total <br /> Xylene. <br /> 08/31/99 Concrete was cored out of the bottom of the concrete vault and soil samples were. <br /> collected from the cored locations on this date. The analytical results of the soil <br /> from beneath the concrete vault were all below detection limits. <br /> 10/06/99 On this date the EHD received the soil analytical results from the 500 gallon UST <br /> removal and a Work Plan to excavate soil to a depth of 15 feet bgs and collect soil <br /> samples. <br /> 11/03/99 On this date, approximately 30 cubic yards of soil was removed from beneath the <br /> former UST location. Two soil samples were collected from the sidewalls of the <br /> excavation and one soil sample was collected from the bottom of the excavation <br /> for analysis. Results from all three of the soil samples were below detection <br /> 4 limits. The contaminated soil that was excavated was placed on the plastic for on- <br /> site aeration. <br /> 02/10/00 On this date, soil samples from the aerated stockpile were collected by BKl <br /> Consultants for analysis. These soil sample results were below detection limits. <br />
