Page 2 <br /> SPECIAL WELL PERMITS : <br /> Pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Sect. 5-1405 , <br /> SPECIAL PERMITS for well construction which do not meet the <br /> requirements of Division 4 , Title 5 of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code and/or the associated Rules and Regulations, may <br /> be granted for limited periods of time . <br /> A . SPECIAL PERMIT request to allow construction of monitoring <br /> wells which are located less than the required isolation <br /> distances from potential sources of bacterial and/or <br /> chemical contamination as specified in the Rules and <br /> Regulations for San Joaquin County Ordinance #1$62 .* <br /> REASON FOR REQUEST <br /> I . Ecpt c Leach Line—long than 50 ft. and/or <br /> Leach Sump/Secpago Eil—leas than 100 ft , <br /> a. In order to mitigate the potential source of <br /> bacterial contamination, the septic tank shall be <br /> pumped out and the sewage disposal field <br /> disconnected from the septic tank under liquid <br /> waste permit and inspection by the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District (SJLHD) . <br /> AND <br /> b. The septic tank may be used as a liquid waste <br /> holding tank , provided copies of septic tank <br /> pumping receipts are submitted to the SJLHD on a <br /> monthly basis . <br /> OR <br /> C. Chemical toilets may be used in place of the <br /> septic system for sewage disposal and no other <br /> liquid waste requiring subsurface disposal is <br /> generated by the facility. <br /> *In addition to respective city ordinance codes . <br />
