USA WORKPLAN -2- 16 JUNE 1967
5. Refer to Regional Board memorandum of 24 March 1987
handed to you and your consultant at our meeting of 8
May 1987 (enclosed) . Address those points not covered
by this report which should include all points under
the heading "Preliminary Report" .
-Layout of piping system.
--Label tank contents. -
-Local topography.
-Proximity of nearby private, municipal, and irrigation
wells.
-Location of nearby underground public utility lines,
including water, and sewer lines.
6. The goal of this investigation is to determine the
total extent of soil and water contamination due to
leaks or past practices at these stations. This
workplan should express your commitment to this goal.
Refer to the enclosed memorandum for the requirements
of the next report entitled "Problem Assessment".
Specify the date we can expect to receive the Problem
Assessment Report.
7. Specific to the Lodi site. The proposed location of
the monitoring wells should be adjusted so that one
well is at the northeast corner of the property, and
the southernmost well is adjusted to form a well
placement configuration best suited for determination
of the gradient.
Once these comments are acknowledged and addressed the
investigations may be implemented. Please submit the revised
workplan by 15 July 1987. If you have any questions regarding
this site, call me at (916) 361-5681.
ROBERT L. NIBLACK
Engineering Geologist
RLN
Enclosure
cc: Ms. Laurie Cotulla, San Joaquin Local Health District,
Stockton
Mr. Andrew P.
