May 29, 1987 AGS 87050-1 <br /> USA Station #65, Lodi, California <br /> monitoring wells at the site, in addition to proposed monitoring <br /> well locations, and 5) examples of Field and Report Boring Logs <br /> and a Chain of Custody form. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The USA station is located in Lodi, California at 2500 West Lodi <br /> Avenue, as shown on the Site Vicinity Map. We understand, on the <br /> basis of information supplied by -USA Petroleum, that the tanks <br /> passed a precision pressure test conducted on February 20, 1987. <br /> Three 12,000--gallon underground storage tanks located near the <br /> north end of the station property store regular, unleaded, and <br /> premium unleaded gasoline product. The approximate locations of <br /> these underground storage tanks with respect to other site <br /> features are shown on the Generalized Site Plan. <br /> Pacific Environmental' Group drilled four exploratory soil borings <br /> at the site; two borings (S-A and S-B) to a depth of 20 feet, and <br /> two borings to a depth of 50. 5 feet. Monitoring wells S-1 and S- <br /> 2 were installed to a depth of approximately 49 feet .in the two <br /> deeper borings. The static ground water surface was found at an <br /> approximate depth of 38 . 5 feet. A soil sample collected from 5--1 <br /> at a depth of 39 feet was analyzed And found to contain 230 parts <br />�i <br /> per million (ppm) total hydrocarbons.
