Stratus redeveloped wells S-1, S-2, and MW-8, which are connected to the remediation equipment.
5. The SVE system was shutdown on August 18, 2003, due to low destruction efficiencies not meeting
the SJVUAPCD requirements.
WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER(Fourth 2003):
I
1. Groundwater samples will be
collected for laboratory analysis from wells S-1, S-2, MW-1 through MW-4, and MW-6 through
MW-10.
2. Groundwater samples will be analyzed at a state-certified analytical laboratory for total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) by EPA Method SW80158/DHS LUFT Manual, and for benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tart-butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary amyl methyl
ether (TAME), ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETRE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), and tertiary butyl alcohol
(TBA) by EPA Method SW8260B.
3. Upon receipt of the required access agreement, Stratus will initiate assessment activities to
characterize the vertical extent of impact to ground water.
4. Stratus will co-ordinate for change-out of carbon and re-start the SVE system.
Current Phase of Project: Remediation
Frequency of Groundwater Sam lin All Wells=QuarterE ---
Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring: Quarterly
Groundwater Sampling Date: July 28,2003
Is Free Product(FP) Present on Site: No
PAUSAGasolinc%00651Qtrly120031USA_65_3Q03.DOC .5 MA 7115
