2004. The 150 cfm Stealth Bobcat SVE system operated at the site for a total of 13,624 hours and <br /> removed approximately 3,467 pounds of TPHG and the carbon adsorption system has operated at the site <br /> for a total of 2,124 hours and removed approximately 33.53 pounds of TPHG. The tabulated summaries <br /> of performance of previously operated SVE systems are included in Appendix D. <br /> SVE System Operation and Maintenance <br /> Due to low influent petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in the extracted soil vapor stream during the <br /> first quarter 2005, Stratus operated the SVE system in pulse mode during second quarter 2005. <br /> Stratus conducted five site visits during the second quarter 2005 to conduct operation and maintenance of <br /> the SVE system, and to collect compliance samples. During the second quarter 2005, the SVE system <br /> has operated for approximately 830.7 hours. The influent TPHG concentrations fluctuated from 16 mglm3 <br /> at the beginning of the quarter (April 5, 2005) to less than 15 Mg/M3 at the end of second quarter 2005 <br /> (May 11, 2005). The average influent airflow rate to the SVE system was observed at 61.80 cfm at an <br /> average applied vacuum of 22.7 inches of water column. Figure 4 presents change in influent <br /> concentrations of TPHG and the cumulative TPHG mass removed as a result of soil vapor extraction. <br /> During the second quarter 2005, approximately 5.83 pounds of TPHG was extracted and abated by the <br /> SVE system. As of May 11, 2005, a total of 4,095.14 pounds of TPHG has been removed from the <br /> subsurface beneath the site.
