for a total of 2,124 hours and removed approximately 33.53 pounds of TPHG. <br /> .1 SVS System Operation_and Maintenance <br /> Due to low influent petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in the extracted soil vapor stream during the <br /> first quarter 2005, Stratus operated the SVE system in pulse mode beginning second quarter 2005. <br /> Stratus conducted six site visits during the third quarter 2005 to operate the system in pulse mode and to <br /> collect compliance samples. During the third quarter 2005, the SVE system has operated for <br /> approximately 846.4 hours. Petroleum hydrocarbons or fuel oxygenates were not reported in any of the <br /> influent and effluent air samples collected during third quarter 2005. The average influent airflow rate to <br /> the SVE system was observed at 97.02 cfm at an average applied vacuum of 36.47 inches of water <br /> column. Figure 4 presents change in influent concentrations of TPHG and the cumulative TPHG mass <br /> removed as a result of soil vapor extraction. As of September 6, 2005, a total of 4,095.14 pounds of <br /> TPHG has been removed from the subsurface beneath the site.
