Box 1839 <br /> Santa Monica, California 90406 <br /> (213 ) 452-6200 Fax (213 ) 450-4020 <br /> RE: Quarterly Monitoring Report USA Petroleum Corporation Station <br /> #65, 2500 West Lodi Avenue, Lodi, California. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Purpose and Scope <br /> To satisfy the quarterly monitoring requirements and to document <br /> the investigation of groundwater sampling for USA Petroleum <br /> Station #65, the following report is submitted by Western Geo- <br /> Engineers (WEGE ) . <br /> On February 6 , 1992, WEGE personnel sampled the monitor wells at <br /> USA Petroleum Corporation Station #65 . <br /> iDuring the monitoring round, water samples were collected from <br /> MW1 , MW2, MW3 , MW5 , MW6, and MW7 for analyses by a state-certified <br /> laboratory. Monitor Wells S1 and S2 were dry at the time of <br /> sampling. As noted previously in the quarterly monitoring report <br /> of September 24, 1992 , the traffic box of MW4 has been paved over <br /> by the contractor placing asphalt on the adjacent parking lot for <br /> the shopping center. No water sample was collected from well MW-4 <br /> (see Table 1 and Figure 4B) . <br /> Location <br /> USA Petroleum Corporation Station 65 is located at 2500 West Lodi <br /> Avenue in Lodi, California The property is an active gasoline <br /> station that retails regular unleaded, super unleaded, and premium <br /> unleaded gasoline. This site is in Section 10, T3S, R6E, MDB&M, <br /> San Joaquin County, California. The site elevation is <br /> approximately 37 feet above mean sea level (see Figures 1 and 2 ) . <br /> Background <br /> The site consists of three 12 , 000 gallon steel underground storage <br /> tanks. Presently, the tanks store regular unleaded, super <br /> unleaded, and premium unleaded gasoline. USA records indicate no <br /> significant loss or gain in the inventory. The site has three <br /> service islands, each with a vapor recovery system. <br /> 1 <br />
