1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> USA Gasoline Corporation (USA) has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) to assist <br /> them in the environmental cleanup of their retail gasoline station#65, which is located at 2500 <br /> West Lodi Avenue,Lodi, California (Figure 1, the "Site Vicinity Map"). Mr. Srikanth Dasappa of <br /> C USA, has authorized Park to prepare and implement the scope of work outlined in this Remedial <br /> Action Plan (RAP)for remediating hydrocarbon affected soil and groundwater beneath the site. <br /> Preliminary investigations and ongoing monitoring and sampling activities conducted by others at <br /> the site, have been under the direction of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division (County). <br /> 2.0 OBJECTIVES <br /> The objectives of this RAP are: <br /> • To initiate soil vapor extraction activities for remediating hydrocarbon affected soil <br /> and groundwater beneath the site; and <br /> • To prepare the site for closure. , <br /> 2.1 Proposed Scope of Work <br /> oP P <br /> The following specific tasks are proposed to meet the objectives stated above: <br /> • Install 4-inch diameter PVC piping for the vapor extraction system (VES) <br /> system. The piping will extend from MW-8, S-1 and S-2 to the vapor <br /> treatment unit in the compound <br /> • Startup and operation of the catalytic oxidation unit following the receipt <br /> of a temporary Permit to Construct/Permit to Operate from the San <br /> ' Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District; <br /> • Continuation of quarterly groundwater sampling and periodic vapor <br /> sampling to monitor the progress of site cleanup; <br /> • Drilling and sampling of confirmatory soil borings at selected locations to <br /> verify soil cleanup parameters; and <br /> f; The collection of remediation data for preparing the Site Closure Report. <br /> L <br /> t <br />
