TPHG was detected in 4 of the 10 sampled monitoring wells at concentrations ranging from
400 µg11 (MW-8) to 5,300 µg11 (S-1). Benzene was detected in 4 of the 10 sampled monitoring
wells at concentrations ranging from 4.6 µg/1 (MW-4) to 370 µg/l (S-1). MTBE was detected by
USEPA Method 8260 in 6 wells at concentrations ranging from 8.6 µg/l (MW-4) to 12,000 µg11
' (S-1), TBA was detected in wells MW-8 and S-1 at concentrations of 54 µg/l and 2,400 µg/1,
respectively. No other oxygenates were detected. Analytical data are summarized in Table 1 and
illustrated on Figure 3. Certified Analytical Reports and chain of custody documentation are
presented in Appendix B.
5 CONCLUSIONS
Groundwater samples from 6 of the 10 sampled monitoring wells (MW-3, MW-4, MW-7,
MW-8, S-1, and S-2) contained detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons including
MTBE. Highest detected concentrations were reported in well S-1. Groundwater flowed toward
the southeast during the first quarter 2000.
The material and data in this report were prepared under the supervision and direction of the
undersigned.
IT Corporation IT Corporation
.r. hn ao /','o
David Foley Mark Capps .6- 6561
Project Manager Project Geologist
\\SACRFPI\COMMON1ConsuhingldaislShared\Projeds\PJT792065.ab.doc R CORPORar10n
2
