0.
 •a: ,xa rr
.gin r i°nx> F ..-s A '*i. }' - F e IK rrs,"-`•. , . i l'G
1
t-- j
I
i
The site has been impacted by petroleum product lose, uhich has
reached the underlying ground water. This conr.lusion is basest on
the hydrocarbons concentrations detected in both soils and ground
water beneath the site. The relatively high hydrocarbons
concentrations detected in Well 5-2, located approximately 40
feet from the doungradiont site boundary, suggest that dissolved
gasoline may have migrated off-site. However with only two site
wells it is not currently possible to determine the local
direction of ground-water movement or the extent of the dissolved
gasoline plume beneath the site.
Because the potential exists for the plume to spread off-site, a
thorough survey of nearby wells should be conducted. This survey
should focus on identifying all (documented and undocumented)
well locations within one mile of the site, detailing well
construction and determining well activity. Whtle It is known
that municipal water is available in the area, it appears that
E private wells are also used to supplement the supply (See
Appendix C), Additional Information regarding wells in the area
May be available from the California Department of Water
Resources and the City of Lodi.
° Results of the detailed well inventory may indicate the need for
additional observation wells between the site and any usable
water supply wells. These wells would help to establish tht
extent of migration of the plume. If ground-water resources are
threatened, ground-water remediation may be warranted.
,l The Regional eater quality Control Board, Central Valley Region,
a is concerned about dissolved hydrocarbon concentrations that
exceed the state action levels. A brief discussion of state
regulatory perspective is presented in Appendix 0.
If you have any questions regarding the contents of this report,
a please call.
i Respectfully submitted,
PAC F ENVIRONMENTAL GROLF, INC.
Erin Garn r
Project Geologist
Susan W,illhite
Project Manager
- -- -- , - - - - CEG-127? -- - ----
F
Pan_ 5 -
t..
