The Waste Management Unit Database System (WMUDS) is maintained by the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board. It tracks management units for several <br /> regulatory programs related to waste management and its potential impact on <br /> groundwater. Two of these programs (SWAT & TPCA) are no longer on-going <br /> regulatory programs as described below. Chapter 15 (SC15) is still an on-going <br /> regulatory program and information is updated periodically. The WMUDS System <br /> contains information from the following agency databases: Facility, Waste <br /> Management Unit (WMU) , Waste Discharger System (WDS) , SWAT, Chapter 15, TPCA, <br /> RCRA, Inspections, Violations, and Enforcement's. <br /> • Notes Regarding SWAT Ranks 1-5 <br /> In a 1993 Memorandum of Understanding, the State Water Resources Control Board <br /> agreed to submit a comprehensive report on the Solid Waste Assessment Test <br /> (SWAT) Program to the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
