During sampling, latex gloves will be worn to prevent <br /> cross-contamination with other samples. One pair of disposable gloves will be dedicated to <br /> each sample collected. <br /> I <br /> Once the sample is collected, each end of the cylinder will be sealed with aluminum foil or <br /> �I <br /> teflon tape and then capped with a polyethylene lid, taped, and labeled. The sample will then <br /> be individually sealed in a ziplock bag and immediately placed in an ice chest containing dry ice , <br /> or frozen chemical ice for delivery to a state certified laboratory. Sample identification, storage <br /> and transportation will be conducted as outlined in the previous section. <br /> it <br /> 11.3 Sampling from Sail Piles or,Shallow Soil Pits <br /> Ir <br /> Soil samples will be collected and transported from excavated material in the manner described <br /> in the previous section, however, a backhoe will not be utilized.
