(AGE) has prepared <br /> this report for the destruction of six ground water monitoring wells at 2850 Loomis Road, <br /> Stockton, California (site). The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. Locations of <br /> structures, borings and monitoring wells related tc the site are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> BACKGROUNDIINTRODUCTION <br /> As part of a leaking underground storage tank-(UST) investigation, six single completed, <br /> two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells(IV W-1 through MW-6)had been installed <br /> at the site between August 2000 and May 2007. Wells MW-1 through MW-5 had been <br /> installed to maximum depths of 78 feet below surlace grade (bsg),while well MW-6 was <br /> installed to a depth of 135 feet bsg.'Well construc ion details are summarized in Table 1; <br /> boring logs are included in Appendix A. <br /> l <br /> As directed by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) by letter <br /> dated 21 March 2012 (Appendix B), monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 were destroyed <br /> under EHD permits SR#64609 and SR#64610 (Appendix C) in order to fulfill requirements <br /> for site closure.
