Site Investigation Work Plan <br /> NATIONAL FREI HT <br /> 2850 Loomis Road, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this site investigation work plan for the <br /> advancement of soil probe borings at 2850 Loomis Road (the site),' Stockton, California. The work <br /> plan is prepared at the request of Mr. Dan Folcher of Vin land Construction Co. The location of the <br /> site is illustrated in Figure I. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This work plan is prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)by letter dat d 21 June 1999 and is in accordance with <br /> PHS-EHD and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB) guidelines for the <br /> 'investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites. <br /> The purpose of the proposed assessment is to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon impact to soil at the site. This work plan provides a description of the scope of work <br /> and procedures.to be used for soil probe boring advancer,ent and soil sample collection and analysis. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located in a topographically flat area of Stoc ton, California (Figure 1), approximately <br /> 1,400 feet west of the intersection of Loomis Road and California Highway 99 Frontage Road. The <br /> site is further described as being located in the northeast quarter of Section 47, Township I North, <br /> Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton East Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS <br /> Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987). <br /> 2.1. SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is presently utilized as a truck depot for freight transportation. The site consists of a large <br /> building structure utilized for office space and a storage yard. Two 12,000-gallon diesel USTs and <br /> one 1,000-gallon waste oil UST were formerly located n the property. <br /> 2.2. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMO AL <br /> Two 12,000-gallon diesel USTs (Tank No. 1 and Tank No. 2), two fuel dispensers and all associated <br /> product piping were removed from the site ori 29 September 1998. Laboratory analysis of soil <br /> samples collected beneath the diesel USTs/dispenser is and area and product piping detected total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) at concentrations as high as 5,100 mg/kg <br /> Adranced GcoEnvironmenlat,Inc. <br />
