12 November 2009 a
AGE-NC Project No. 98-0497 l
i
A minimum of two soil samples will be submitted for laboratory analysis. Selected soil samples will
be analyzed by a CDPH-certified laboratory for so e o a 1 of the following constituents: . - r
&. ._ 3
• TPH-d in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified;
and
• Naphthalene in accordance with EPA Method 8260B.
Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, la oratory quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report of
findings with recommendations.
i
2. REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis,a No Further Action Request Q `
m
Report (NFARR) will be prepared presenting the find ngs of the investigation. The report will
include a description of the work performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions,
applicable recommendations, and maps will be include in the report.
3.0. FIELD PROCEDURES
I
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE represe tative under the supervision of a California
Professional Geologist.Procedures for the advancement of probe borings,soil-vapor sampling, soil i
sampling, equipment decontamination and sample shipment are outlined below.
i
3.1. BORING ADVANCEMENT
Soil-vapor and soil probe borings will be advanced using van-mounted Geoprobe 5400 direct-push
probing unit equipped with 1.125-inch probing rods. T ic Geoprobe advances soil probe borings
using a hydraulic hammer to drive soil sampling tools to specified depths.
3.2. SOIL-VAPOR SAMPLE COLLECTION
Soil-vapor samples will be collected at approximatelyth ee to four feet bsg in each boring. Samples
will be collected using a Geoprobe soil vapor sampling assembly.
y .r
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
3
3
