INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Daniel Folcher of Vineland Construction Co ,Advanced GeoEnvironmentaI, <br /> Inc (AGE)has prepared this report of environmental activities conducted at 2850 Loomis Road(the <br /> site), Stockton, California The scope of work included monitoring and sampling of five ground <br /> ' water monitoring wells and preparation of this report The location of the site and its surroundings <br /> are illustrated on Figure 1,major features and monitoring wells on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> ' This investigation was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)for investigations of underground storage tank(UST)sites and sampling ground <br /> ' water monitoring wells,respectively Background information and site history is summarized in the <br /> AGE-prepared Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 12 October 1999 and <br /> ' Additional Site Assessment Report, dated 09 April 2002 <br /> ' 20 PROCEDURES <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling procedures were performed in accordance with the <br /> ' AGE-prepared and ElID-approvedMonitoring Welllnstallation Work Plan,dated 09 June 2000 The <br /> work was performed to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water <br /> and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 04 June 2001, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water from <br /> the well casing tops in wells MW-I through MW-5 The depths to ground water are summarized in <br /> ' Table 1 <br /> After water levels were gauged, a disposable plastic bailer was used to evacuate (purge) each <br />' monitoring well of a minimum of three casing-water volumes (approximately 6 3 to 8 3 gallons) of <br /> water Temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured at regular intervals using an Oakton water <br /> analyzer The field data sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in <br /> 55-gallon drums _ <br /> i <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
