We estimate that the volume of stockpiled soil is between 100 and 150 cubic yards. Shell had <br /> considered returning sonic ofthe stoc iled soil to the UST and dispenser excavations. However,since we could <br /> not get approval to do thio from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services last weeJ,the excavations were <br /> instead filled with new backfill material. Therefore,all of the soil that was excavated frarn the site during the <br /> renovations wed investigation will be disposed at a landfill.
