PRODUCTS COMPANY <br /> PO BOX 6004 <br /> SAN RAXON CA 94583 <br /> RE: 2409 E MAIN STREET Site Code:505603 <br /> STOCKTON CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD) has reviewed the <br /> Quarterly Monitoring Report dated October 8,2001, and the Request for Site Closure dated April 6,2000, <br /> prepared by SECOR for the above referenced site. <br /> This site doesn't have a monitoring well downgradient of the former location of the underground storage <br /> tanks. A monitoring well must be installed between MW-1 and the former station building. Groundwater <br /> samples should be analyzed quarterly for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline by EPA Method 8015, <br /> Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene by EPA Method 8020, and MtBE and other Oxygenate <br /> cornpounds by EPA Method 8260. <br /> Conduct a complcte well survey of domestic,municipal,agricultural,industrial and any other wells within a <br /> 2,000-foot radius of this site. Contact the Department of Water Resources,municipal water suppliers and <br /> nearby industries for well information. Perform a physical search of the area to identify any wells. Show <br /> the locations of all wells and submit any known construction details of the wells. Identify all sources of <br /> information in the well survey report and clearly depict each well location as they relate to the above <br /> referenced site. A survey should also be conducted to locate any other potential conduits. Discuss <br /> conclusions regarding public and environmental health risks as they relate to the pumping influence of these <br /> identified wells,migration through conduits and the potential impact of the contaminant plume. <br /> Additional information is required before this site can be considered for closure.
