Case Closure Summary <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> 12/7/04 Two 15,000-gallon fiberglass g g gasoline USTs, four fuel dispensers, one I <br /> 550-gallon waste oil tank, and associated piping were removed from this <br /> site. Four soil samples were collected beneath the four dispensers at 3 feet <br /> bgs; six soil samples were collected beneath the piping at 3 feet bgs; six <br /> soil samples were collected beneath the two USTs at 3 to 12 feet bgs; one <br /> soil sample was collected beneath the waste oil tank at 8 feet bgs; and four <br /> soil samples were collected beneath the four hoists at 4.5 to 6.5 feet bgs. <br /> The only chemicals of concern detected were xylene at 0.012 mg/kg and <br /> 0.0059 mg/kg in soil samples D-4 and P-5, respectively-, TPH-diesel t <br /> ranging from 2.7 to 22 mg/kg in the one waste oil soil sample and four 4 <br /> hoist soil samples, and total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons ranging <br /> from 13 to 86 mg/kg in the four hoist soil samples. <br /> i <br /> 01/20/04 to <br /> 07/08/05 Quarterly groundwater monitoring has taken place with non-detect results <br /> reported for chemicals of concern except for MTBE concentrations found <br /> in MW-1 ranging from 4.0 µg/L (January 2004), to 1.2 µg/L (July 2005). j <br /> i <br /> i <br /> I <br /> r <br /> i <br /> I <br /> t <br /> f <br /> I <br />
