At Cherokee Freight Lines we go to great lengths to stay in compliance with all <br /> state and local environmental rules and regulations.All hazardous waste generated at our facility is <br /> carefully stored in properly labeled containers until hauled away by Safety Kleen Services under proper <br /> manifest and billing. <br /> I am sending a letter from Safety Kleen ,explaining why our oil water seperater waste is now being <br /> hauled away under a consolidated manifest. If you have any question you can contact me at my office 444- <br /> 7325 or Brian Trefault of Safety Kleen at 545-101 l.All our sand blast waste will now be disposed of as <br /> hazardous waste. Sand blast material will be stored in a properly labeled barrel and hauled off under the <br /> proper manifest.. <br /> I updated Our contingency Plans at both yards to be in compliance with the code section you left me at <br /> the time of our inspection. I have enclosed copy's of both plans for your inspection. <br /> All training records are being updated to be in compliance with code section you left at time of our <br /> inspection. I am sending a copy of a training record for our main shop and also one for our wash station for <br /> your inspection as per our notice to comply. <br /> All barrels used to contain our hazardous waste are now properly labeled and inspected daily to make <br /> sure information on labels is correct. I have discussed with our waste hauler and our own employees the <br /> importance of keeping this information current and correct. <br /> I have signed a contract and issued a purchase order to Safety Kleen to have Cameron—Cole <br /> Engineering Co. prepare a SPCC plan for our facility. They assure me they can have our plan completed by <br /> 09/10/04. 1 will send you a copy for inspection as soon as we receive it.
