San Joaquin County Office ENViRONMEN 1 HEALTH
Toua Yang PERMIT,/SEPNICES
Along with the return to compliance certification I am sending this letter to explain
corrections to violations found at our facility during our inspection on 6/13/07. At
Cherokee Freight Lines we go to great lengths to stay in compliance with all state and
local environmental rules and regulations. All hazardous waste generated at our facility is
carefully stored in properly labeled containers until hauled away by Safety Kleen
Services under proper manifest.
The 250 gallon tote of waste anti -freeze was hauled away on 6/15/07 two days after the
inspection. I have discussed with our waste hauler and our own employees the
importance of making sure it does not stay on sight more than 90 days. I have included a
copy of the service order for your inspection.
I installed a plain white decal on the crushed drained waste oil filter container and
marked the accumulation start date on it. I have enclosed a photograph as proof for your
inspection.
I have updated our contingency plan to include a distribution list of the agency's I have
sent copy's of our plan to.
