O. Box 388 Stockton, CA 95201-0388 Ref : RESULTS OF FIELD RECONNAISSANCE - MARCI ' S DIESEL SERVICE, 2969 LOOMIS ROAD, STOCKTON Dear Ms . Turkatte; Per your request, on February 20, 1997, I made an extensive field reconnaissance of the area surrounding the Marci Diesel site to identify existing private or domestic water wells . The results of that work is shown on the attached map, which is a composite of three (3) County Assessor parcel maps . Each of the four private residences identified on that map probably had private wells, but if such existed, they were not visible from the road. A private well exists on parcel APN 171-30-09 (Husky Crane, ) and possibly on the adjacent APN 171-30-03, BJJ Trucking, although none could be seen from acessible locations . If any are present, they would be a minimum of 600 feet from the Marci Diesel site. There were no wells visible on parcels 171-30-16, 171-30-14, 171-30-12, or 171-0-13 . There were no wells visible on the east half of parcel 179-10-21, to the west of the Marci site. The western part of that property was not visible from available roads . The west two-thirds of parcels 179-11-08 & 179-11-13 (east of Marcils) are undeveloped and do not contain any structures . No evidence of wells were noted. There are numerous other private wells located on properties to the east and northeast, but since they are far beyond the zone of influence, I did not attempt to locate and mark them.
