eoCo ical rechii cs Inc.
2741 River Road
Modesto,California 95351
(209)538-6424/Fax#538-5852
REPORT
i Groundwater Monitoring
4" Quarter 2001
Marci Property
2969 Loomis Road
Stockton, CA
Project No. 770.2
January 10, 2002
i
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The site's seven groundwater monitoring wells are sounded and sampled on a quarterly
schedule. This report summarizes the 4"' Quarter 2001 round of groundwater monitoring
and testing that took place on December 7, 2001.
F
The analytical results from the wells indicate that detectable concentrations of diesel range
I petroleum hydrocarbons are present in four of the site's seven wells. Well MW-5 contained
9,550 µg11 TPH-D and this is the highest level detected since the well's installation in
August 2000.
Oxidation-Reduction Potential measurements show that all seven monitoring wells are
within the reaction depleted water caused by biodegradation of the contamination plume.
Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow was N70°E with a slope of
i 0.0004 ft/ft. Based on a previous consultant's data, this site has a history of variable
{ groundwater flow direction. GTI's computed direction for this sixth consecutive event
confirms that groundwater direction varies from quarter to quarter at the site.
