For TPID 1709034,the
inspection report would have zero tires and the reason why it is closed. It is my understanding that you should not
conduct an inspection report for the newly created TPID#and that you should wait 6 months before completing an
initial inspection report. At the time of the inspection for TPID# 1709034,you can educate the new business on the
waste tire laws and regulations and state that the tires onsite are now the responsibility of the new facility. You can bill
for an educational visit for the new TPID#.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Kyle Emery
Tire Enforcement Section
Waste Tire Compliance North Unit
Waste Evaluation and Enforcement Branch
Department of Resources Recycling,and Recovery(CalRecycle)
Phone:(916)341-6362
Fax:(916)631-9727
Gal Recycle
NOTICE OF CONFIDENTIALITY:This e-mail message, including any attachments,is intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may
contain information that is privileged, confidential or exempt from disclosure under applicable laws.If you are not the intended recipient, you are notified that
dissemination, distribution,or copying of this communication is strictly prohibited and may be a violation of law. Fremont Street, Stockton,TPID# 1709034. A new
owner has recently moved into this location and has waste tires on the site. The site currently has an active TPID, but it
is for the previous operator and should be closed. I would like to conduct an initial inspection and help the new
operator obtain a TPID and provide information about the program. How would you suggest I proceed?
