i <br /> ADDENDUM TO: <br /> SOIL REMEDIATION PROPOSAL <br /> I. Summary of Soil. Remediation Proposal: <br /> In our March 29, 1990 proposal American Transit Mix Co. <br /> requested that a variance be granted from the local <br /> implementing agency, the San Joaquin County PHS/EHD (SJC <br /> PHS/EHD) , to transport sixteen yards of contaminated soil to <br /> our facility located at 30350 S. Tracy Blvd. , Tracy. This <br /> facility is approximately five miles from the 651 S. Mac <br /> Arthur Blvd. site. The soil will be blended with our <br /> aggregate base rock material at the new location after it can <br /> be determined that the contamination levels of the soil are <br /> below the 100 ppm state action levels. <br /> i <br /> II. Results From Initial Soil Pile Sampling: <br /> On April 18 , 1990 .four discrete samples were taken from the <br /> soil pile at the Mac Arthur Blvdi site under the direction of <br /> Greg Lyon from the SJC PHS/EHD. Soil sample locations taken <br /> from the stock pile can be found in the attachments Figure 1 <br /> of this report. All soil samples were taken, using chain of <br /> custody, to a state certified laboratory for analysis.
