Teichert and Son, with permit issued <br /> by San Joaquin County, removed three small gasoline storage tanks <br /> located just south of the maintenance building as shown on the <br /> site plan. <br /> Soil tests were taken and analyzed. Results indicate <br /> contamination in the bottom of the tank hole. Results are <br /> attached. <br /> r on May 11, 1987, four backhoe trenches, located about 15' Qir <br /> from the tank hole, were excavated to a depth of 18± feet. <br /> Trench No. 1 was in the tank hole. The soil was contaminated <br /> with hydrocarbons to the full depth; therefore, no TPH nor <br /> was run on the sample, but it was analyzed for lead atQ1.9 <br /> Mg/Kg. In addition, a clean sample (L51631) from trench No. 4 <br /> was run for background lead at`5.l g/Kg, TPH, and BT%. Sample <br /> was not contaminated. Lab results are attached. <br /> Excavated material was checked in the field with a Gas Tech <br /> Surveyor for TP j Only the material from the tank hale indicated <br /> contamination. <br /> .... ..... -- <br />
