1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> 650 Management Corporation (Client) has retained The Park Corporation (Park) to perform <br /> quarterly groundwater monitoring at 151 South Main Street in Manteca, California The location <br /> of the site and the various wells locations, are shown on Figures 1 and 2 (Site Location Map and <br /> Site Plan) The work performed and described in this report has been mandated by the lead <br /> agency, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (County), <br /> and was performed in accordance with the workplan dated May 24, 1994 and supplemented <br /> January 13, 1995, which was approved by the County <br /> 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> Specific tasks completed by Park dunng the groundwater monitoring program included the <br /> following <br /> ' L <br /> • ocate and measure depths to groundwater an all the wells, <br /> ' Purge a minimum of three well volumes of groundwater from each of the wells <br /> (BEI-MW1, BEI-MW2, BEI-MW3, SRK-MW1, SRK-MW2, and SRK-MW3) <br /> until pH, temperature and electrical conductivity values were within 10 percent, <br /> • Collect groundwater samples from all existing wells, <br /> • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH G) and <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), using EPA Methods <br /> 8015 Modified and 602,respectively, and <br /> • Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report (QMR) for presentation to <br /> Ithe County <br /> The County was notified that the sampling date was March 13, 1996 Ms Margaret Lagorio <br /> from the County was present to observe the sampling <br /> 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL SAMPLING METHODOLOGY <br /> 2.1 Groundwater Elevations <br /> rt in groundwater Prior 0 obtaining depths to groundwate measurements, the wells were checked for the presence <br /> of free product using a new disposable bailer for each well Depths to groundwater <br /> measurements were made using an electric water level indicator The depths were measured from <br /> the top of the surveyed well casings Groundwater level data collected to date from the site are <br /> presented an Table 1, and a copy of the field notes are included in Appendix A <br /> • <br />
