FIRST QUARTER 1996
GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT
FORMER DIAMOND LUMBER - MANTECA
APRIL, 1996
3.2 Groundwater Conditions
The depths to groundwater measured on March 13, 1996 ranged between 16 51 and 16 73-feet
' below ground surface (bgs) The elevations of the groundwater ranged from 16 44 to 16 90-feet
above mean sea level (MSL) The direction of the groundwater flow was calculated using the
BEI wells and SRK wells, separately This was done because the wells are perforated at slightly
different depths and their respective water levels appear to reflect the hydrologic conditions in
two somewhat different water bearing zones The groundwater directions of flow and gradients
for the two well groups are both in a north-northeasterly direction at gradients of 0 012-feet/feet
(ft/ft) for the BEI wells and 0 00167-ft/ft for the SRK wells The two well clusters continue to
show slight differences in groundwater elevations when compared to each other
i -
•
3
t
