STEFFEN ROBERTSON AND KIRSTEN <br /> January 27, 1993 <br /> Ms La Mar Margaret orio <br /> g g <br /> San Joaquin County, Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re: On-site Disposal of Non-Contaminated Sail Generated During BoreholeJMomtonng Well <br /> installation, November 1941, Diamond Lumber facility, Manteca, California <br /> Dear Ms Lagorio <br /> Steffen Robertson and Kirsten (US) Inc, (SRK) has been retained by the 650 Management <br /> Corporation (current management of Diamond Lumber, Inc ) to perform quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring of the six groundwater monitoring wells located at the above referenced site on February <br /> 5, 1993 On behalf of our client, SRK requests permission to spread non-contaminated soil generated <br /> during borehole/monitoring well installation at the Diamond Lumber facility during November 1991 <br /> As you will recall, three groundwater monitoring wells and two boreholes were installed by SRK under <br /> the direct guidance of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) <br /> During SRK's subsurface soil and groundwater investigation,analytical soil samples were collected and <br /> submitted to a California certified laboratory The analytical soil parameters included TPH-gas, BTEX <br /> and total lead The constituents of BTEX, TPH-gas and total lead were not detected in any of the <br /> analytical soil samples collected from SRK-MW3, SRK-BH1 and SRK-BH2 <br /> SRK requests permission from PHS/EHD to spread non-contaminated soil generated during the <br /> installation of monitoring well SRK-MW3, along with soil generated during the installation of bonngs <br /> SRK-BH1 and SRK-BH2 The proposed area of disposal is on a weathered asphalt surface located <br /> near the west property line (see figure 1) The following table contains analytical soil data generated <br /> during subsurface soil investigation Copies of the analytical soil data are enclosed <br /> SRKAn�allytical.
