Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report No 2 February 9, 1998 <br />' QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT NO. 2 <br /> First Quarter 1998 <br /> 151 South Main Street <br /> Manteca, Cahfornia <br /> February 9, 1998 <br /> ' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the procedures and results of groundwater monitoring completed at 151 <br /> ' South Main Street, Manteca, California (Figure 1) The purpose of this report is to fulfill <br /> quarterly monitoring requirements by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services(SJCPHS) <br /> and to establish a groundwater monitoring history for the site <br /> ' For this reporting Period, groundwater from the monitoring wells was sampled and submitted <br /> ' for Iaboratory analyses Samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg) using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015M, the gasoline <br /> constituents benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX) using EPA Method 8020, <br /> ' and five oxygenate additives Tertiary Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether <br /> (MTBE), Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (ETBE) and Tertiary Amyl <br /> Methyl Ether(TAME)using EPA Method 8260 (Note 1997 MTBE analyses were performed <br /> using EPA Method 8020, however, in a letter to our client, Value Reclamation Corporation <br /> [VRC], from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division, <br /> [SJCPHS, EHD] dated October 30, 1997, a directive was given to include analyses for the five <br /> ' oxygenates listed above using EPA Method 8260 <br /> ' Section 2 0 presents the groundwater sampling procedures Section 3 0 presents a summary of <br /> the specific actions taken during the previous quarter Section 4 0 presents the analytical results <br /> and water level measurements of the groundwater sampled during this monitoring period <br /> 1 <br /> 2.0 GROUNDWATER SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> ' The locations of the groundwater monitoring wells and other relevant features are shown on <br /> o g g <br /> t' Figure 2 Table 1 summarizes the construction details for all monitoring and co-extraction wells <br /> related to the site investigation <br /> 5 <br /> ' OST <br /> 701-1-2 qm2 Page 1 <br /> 1� <br />
