The <br /> property referenced .above,which is currently being investigated <br /> as a site of contamination, is an estate asset. <br /> I have been: advised by Mr. Dell IEva and Mr. William Hunter, <br /> the geologist hired by Mr. Dell ' Eva, that your department has <br /> now required a groundwater investigation at this property despite <br /> the fact that no soil contamination was detected at the site of <br /> the underground tank. <br /> Your letter of January 3, 1991 directed to Mr. Dell 'Eva sets <br /> forth the reasons for your decision to require a groundwater <br /> investigation. Paragraph B of that letter references certain <br /> records in your possession which will substantiate the storage <br /> of regular leaded gasoline. in the 2000 gallon tank which was <br /> removed from that site. <br /> - <br /> I would appreciate it if you .would send me copies of <br /> those records ,a.s the only information we have is that the tank <br /> was exclusively used for storage of diesel fuel . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> DAVID K.
