The work plan was written on your behalf and proposes installing three <br /> soil borings to collect soil and groundwater data,reviewing the subsequent data, and possibly <br /> destroying monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2, and MW-3. Although the text and figures do not <br /> reference MW-4, it is assumed that MW-4 will be included as well. <br /> The plan to install three soil borings for the purpose of collecting additional soil and groundwater <br /> data is approved. Be advised that the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> requires analysis for methyl tertiary butyl ether;tertiary butanol, di-isopropyl ether, ethyl-butyl <br /> ether,tertiary-amyl methyl ether, 1,2-dichloroethane ethylene dibromide,methanol, and ethanol <br /> prior to closure consideration. <br /> All subsurface borings within San Joaquin County require permits. Obtain the necessary drilling <br /> permits from San Joaquin County prior to commencing drilling operations, and adhere to San <br /> Joaquin County as well as State well standards.
