The purpose of this work was to evaluate <br /> the vertical extent of gasoline hydrocarbons in soil within the area where the highest <br /> concentrations of gasoline hydrocarbons in soil were discovered during previous <br /> excavation activities., <br /> This report includes a brief discussion of site background.previous investigations. <br /> scope of work.findings,and conclusions.-Field and laboratory procedures are presented <br /> as Actachmeni A. . <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at the northeast comer of East Main Street and F Street in Stockton:. <br /> California.situated in the northeastern portion of the San Joaquin Valley(Figure 0. It <br /> is our understanding that the site is owned by the Hinman Trust. The site is currently <br />\ vacant. Formerly.Chevron Service Station 9-6258 operated at the site. The former <br /> tacilities at the site included three gasoline underground storage tanks(USTs). <br /> associated underground piping and pump island,one waste oil tank,and a station <br /> building(Figure').
