PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a interim remediation plan for <br /> remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located <br /> at 470 N. Main, in the City of Manteca (APN 223-071-01) on the <br /> southeast corner of Main and Alameda, has been reviewed by San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) . The plan is a proposal for mitigation of <br /> hazardous substances which contaminated the site due to <br /> unauthorized releases associated with underground storage tanks <br /> (UST) which are located on the property. <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division, Local UST Oversight ,Program, has made a tentative <br /> determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State <br /> and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will <br /> not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed <br /> the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at the <br /> Manteca Public Library, 320 W. Center, Manteca, CA and <br /> PHS/EHD, 445 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, CA during normal <br /> working hours, 8: 00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If a written request by any <br /> member of the public for a public hearing is not received by <br /> PHS/EHD by March 30, 1992, the -tentative decision shall become <br /> final on that date and time. <br /> All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to <br /> PHS/EHD at P.O. Box 2009, Stockton, 95201.
