EVAX
Technologies permitted and installed an internal combustion engine (ICE)
at the site in August 1989. Inadvertantly, a report was never prepared
and forwarded to your office at the time of installation.
The ICE operated at the site from October 13, 1989, through November 17,
1989. During its operation, the ICE extracted and combusted almost 2000
pounds of hydrocarbon (equivalent to approximately 315 gallons of
gasoline) . Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions
regarding this information.
Sincerely,
ULTRAMAR INC.
lenn R. embroff
er
Marketing Environmental Department
I
Enclosure: EVAX report dated February 11, 1991
cc w/encl : Mr. Jim Maughan - CRWQCB, Sacramento, California
02141cot
-::-N
BEAC
#{1 Quality and Service
A Member of the Ultramar Group of Companies
'Ultramar-
