MEMORANDUM
01/19/99
TO: DOUG STIDHAM FROM: LORI DUNCAN
CITY OF ESCALON SJC PHS/EHD
RE: 1405 Main Street
A -Escalon ER C—/a 5
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division has
reviewed the soil analysis results from the 12/09/98 over-excavation for re-
sampling event that took place at the above referenced site. Over-excavation
was done at areas which evidenced high contamination at the 11/23/98 piping
sampling event. Three soil samples were taken, one at 19' below surface grade
(bsg), one at 18' bsg and one at 17.5' bsg. In addition, five soil stockpile samples
were taken. A leaching potential was done and all samples passed. The
stockpiled soils may be used to backfill the excavation.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Lou o'
Lori Duncan, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
SJC PHS/EHD
