C. Industrial Waste Discharge
I. Is this plant subject to an existing Federal Pretreatment Standard?
Yes No__X_
2. Detailed description of operation producing wastes including production
quantities and estimated waste usage (use additional sheets is necessary) .
No current operations. This application is being made to remediate
groundwater that was contaminated by an underground fuel tank. We have
included recent analytical results from monitoring wells at this site.
Only 2 wells show contamination. That well would meet federal discharge
criteria for discharge into a P.O.T.W. Because we will be pumping a large
volume of water from the wells to make sure the contaminated water remains
on site, we believe a dilution effect will occur. We believe the actual
concentration discharged will be less than 1/3 of the concentration on MW#3.
3.
