• • <br /> ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT WORKPLAN <br /> • JAMAR SERVICE,STOCKTON <br /> APRIL 2002 <br /> This workplan proposes to conduct an off-site investigation to the southeast using three <br /> CPT boreholes of 100 to 150-feet bgs to define down gradient subsurface conditions The <br /> data collected during this study will be used to determine locations for the installation of <br /> two or three additional groundwater monitoring wells to be installed to approximately 75- <br /> feet bgs An extraction well immediately south of MW-1 will be installed upon completion <br /> of the CPT investigation and monitoring well installation In addition,a sensitive receptor <br /> survey will be conducted to identify any water supply wells, surface water sources or other <br /> sensitive receptors within 2,000-feet of the site, which could be impacted by the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon and fuel oxygenate levels in the groundwater A water sample will be taken <br /> from the closest domestic well identified during the sensitive receptor survey <br /> r <br /> After monitoring well mstallation,the well elevations will be surveyed and the groundwater <br /> data from these wells will be used to evaluate the direction of groundwater flow and <br /> gradient An aquifer performance test(APT) and vapor extraction test(VET)will be <br /> conducted on the extraction well The new wells will then be sampled and analyzed for <br /> TPH G,TPH D,BTEX, 1,2-DCA,EDB, and fuel oxygenates <br /> i <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following specific tasks will be completed to meet the objectives stated above <br /> • Preparation of a site specific health and safety plan (HSP). <br /> Obtain necessary boring and well permits from the County <br /> Obtain Underground Service Alert(USA) clearance <br /> • Drill and abandon CPT borings CPT-1 through CPT-3 <br /> • Drill, sample and abandon twinned borings HP-1 through HP-3 <br /> • Sample selected soil samples for TPH G,TPH D,BTEX, 1,2-DCA, EDB, and fuel <br /> oxygenates <br /> • Analyze groundwater samples for TPH G,TPH D, BTEX, 1,2-DCA, EDB, and fuel <br /> oxygenates <br /> • Perform a sensitive receptor survey to identify water supply wells, surface waters and <br /> other sensitive receptors within 2,000-feet of the site <br /> 3 <br /> I <br /> I <br />
