i
Farmer Beacon Station No. 474 May 15, 2000
Stockton California Results of Additional Subsurface Investigation
MW-10 and MW-9, respectively. Current site data indicate a defined groundwater plume in
. the dispenser island area as shown on Figure 3. The data generated by previous work and
this additional subsurface investigation is adequate to proceed with a detailed description of
the site environmental conditions in a Problem Assessment Report (PAR). The data
generated from the remedial testing indicate that vapor extraction and air sparging are
feasible methods to reduce source area concentrations in site soil and groundwater and
prevent further groundwater plume migration. A Corrective Action Plan describing the
design, installation and operation of a soil and groundwater remedial system should be
developed concurrently with the PAR.
DISTRIBUTION
A copy of this investigation results report should be forwarded to:
Mr. Michael Infurna Jr. Mr. Gordon Boggs
San Joaquin County Public Health Services Regional Water Quality Control Board -
Environmental Health Division Central Valley Region
304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor 3443 Routier Road, Suite A
P.
