March Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No. D095-066 <br /> Dear Mr. Ralston: <br /> At the request of Unocal, Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Delta), has been authorized to <br /> submit information in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 23, Division 3, Chapter <br /> 16, Article 5, Section 2652, Reporting, Investigation, and Initial Response Requirements for <br /> Unauthorized Releases. It is Delta's understanding that Unocal previously committed and submitted <br /> an Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release (Leak) Contamination Site Report (USTURR) <br /> form to the San Joaquin County Public Health Service Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS- <br /> EHD); however the SJCPHS-EHD requested a full written report. Based on information available <br /> to Delta, the following information is presented: <br /> Owner's Name and Telephone Number <br /> Unocal Corporation <br /> 2929 Imperial Highway Room 2106 <br /> Brea, California 92621 <br /> (714) 572-7589 <br /> Tvues Quantities and Concentrations Released <br /> Soil samples collected beneath the former product lines, dispensers, and canopy footing pits, and <br /> stockpiled soils reported concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons above the analyzing laboratory's <br /> limits of detection for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, TPH as diesel, benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEC. In addition, concentrations of naphthalene and <br /> 2-methylnaphthalene were reported in one soil sample and one soil composite analyzed for <br /> semi-volatile organics using EPA method 8270. The quantities of these compounds released is <br /> unknown at this time. A table presenting a summary of the analytical results currently available <br /> from soil samples collected and analyzed from the site is presented in Table 1, Soil Sample Analytical <br /> Results and copies of the laboratory reports are presented in Enclosure A. <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
