1.0 INTRODUCTION
USA Petroleum Corporation(USA) has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park)to
' represent USA in matters pertaining to environmental issues at Station#110 located at 2132
Manposa Road, in Stockton, California as shown on Figure 1 Mr Snkanth Dasappa of USA has
authorized Park to prepare this report for assessment of groundwater quality at the subject site
San Joagiun County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) is the
environmental lead agency for the site The PHS/EHD Site Code is#1669
1.1 Scope of Work
' The following is a brief summary of the scope of work authorized by USA
Measure depth to groundwater in all wells on the site,
' • Calculate groundwater elevations and determine groundwater flow direction
• Purge three well volumes of groundwater from each of the wells (MW-1-P, MW-
2-P and MW-3-P) and monitor pH, temperature, and conductivity,
M • Collect and analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH)
quantified as gasoline(TPH G) and diesel (TPH D), benzene, toluene,
' ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) and for total lead using EPA methods
8015,8020 and 7421, respectively, and
• Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report (QMR) for USA, and
submit to PHS/EHD
' 1.2 Facility Description
The USA service station is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of East Manposa
Avenue and Farrington Road in Stockton, California, as shown on Figure I The station has
three 12,000-gallon gasoline tanks and one 3,000-gallon diesel fuel tank, as shown on Figure 2
The tanks appear to be located in the same tank pit on the Manposa Road side of the property
i
2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL SAMPLING METHODOLOGY
r nd r Elevations
2.1 G ou Ovate
Depth to groundwater measurements were collected on March 22, 1995 using an electronic
water level indicator The depths were measured from the top of the surveyed well casings
Groundwater measurements collected during this and previous events are presented in Table 1
