Land use in the immediate vicinity of the site is <br /> primarily residential and commercial, although the region is <br /> recognized as a major agricultural area. A public school is located <br /> to the north of the site. Topography is <br /> across Farmington Road <br /> tle slope westward toward the San Joaquin <br /> nearly flat, with a gen <br /> River. Based on these surface conditions, the regional ground-water <br /> gradient is assumed to be northwest in the direction of topographic <br /> inages.
