Husky Crane page 2
2373 Mariposa Rd, Stockton
Modifications to the September 1995 workplan (or submittal of a new one) should
include the following:
• adequate number of consecutive soil samples to be analyzed so that a
vertical delineation determination can be made,
• soil samples to be analyzed for BTEX, MTBE, and TPH-G, and TPH-D
as per LUFT/EPA Methods and detection limits,
• and soil sampling at former locations of"HC-2S", "HC-3E", and "HC-
1 N" for Motor Oil in addition to the other analytes noted above,
• a historical search that verifies what materials (waste oil, solvents,
hydraulic oil, etc.) have been stored in the underground tank.
Your request for review of this site has revealed that prior to consideration for
closure/no further action, concerns noted in the June 14, 1995 letter will have to be
addressed. A workplan that addresses all of these concerns must be submitted and
approved by PHS-EHD before any closure requests can be granted.
PHS-EHD will not impose a deadline for a new or revised workplan at this time. It
should be noted that if a plan is not submitted within a year, a file review by staff will be
conducted and required submittal dates may be imposed at that time.
Currently no valid boring permits exists for this site. Prior to any drilling, an application
and permit fee of$89 must be submitted to PHS-EHD along with any proposal for
further investigation.
Please contact Michael Infurna, Senior REHS at (209) 468-3454 should you have any
questions or wish to discuss the site.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Senior REHS Mar are La
Michael Infurna Jr., Se 9 orio, REHS 9
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
MI/
c: Wm.
