WKA No 293 8 06 <br /> September 6, 2000 <br /> ' Page 9 <br /> Results of laboratory analysis for soil samples obtained from the soil bonngs are included in <br /> ' Table 1 Historic laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents are included in various <br /> reports presented to San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Quarterly Q Y Sam lin <br /> P g <br /> ' Groundwater beneath the site has been monitored from October 1993 to April 2000 Though <br /> initially reported below detection levels,petroleum hydrocarbons have been present m groundwater <br /> ' samples obtained from wells MWl and MW2 during several of the quarterly sampling events In <br /> general terms, concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons and BTEX fuel constituents reached <br /> ' their highest concentrations in April of 1994 These constituents,however, appear to have <br /> significantly decreased with time <br /> 1 <br /> It should be noted that a tremendous fluctuation in groundwater elevation has occurred during <br /> 10 this time frame and is likely the result of rebounding aquifers following drought conditions <br /> prevalent during the early 1990's The measured depth to static groundwater in the wells ranged <br /> ' from approximately 46 to 70 feet below top of well casing during groundwater and monitoring <br /> activities <br /> ' m the onsite domestic well during the December 7 1999 <br /> A groundwater sample was obtained from g , <br /> quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event Prior to sampling, the well was pumped <br /> for several minutes Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, BTEX and oxygenates were not <br /> ' detected in the water sample obtained from the onsite domestic well The onsite domestic well is <br /> located downgradient of the former UST location and at the southeast corner of the property <br /> between wells MW3 and MW6 The reported depth of the domestic well is 191 feet deep No <br /> ' records of boring logs or well construction details are on file at San Joaquin County On January <br /> 11, 2000 we performed a record search on the domestic well at the Department of Water <br /> tResources (DWR) No records of boring logs or well construction details were encountered <br /> during the search <br /> • <br /> WALLACE KUHI <br /> Rec�&dpaW &ASSOCIATES INC <br />
