You will be directed to begin the required
investigation, based upon the priority ranking of the site and EHD staff availability.
The SWRCB has a reimbursement program for costs associated with the investigation
and remediation of petroleum contamination from leaking UST systems. An application
package for the SWRCB UST Cleanup Fund is enclosed. EHD site mitigation staff will
assist you in completing the application if needed.
The Fund does not cover the costs incurred for the removal, repair, retrofit or
installation of USTs.
