.,JCHH Waste Antifreeze Tann <br />Secondary Containment Assessment Page B: <br />Design of tank: The tank is a double walled UL 142 tank with integral secondary <br />containment. Associated with the tank is an air operated diaphragm pump with <br />12 feet of transfer hose and piping. The tank is fitted with a level gauge and a <br />level switch and horn with sounds at 90 percent full and stops the transfer pump. <br />A waste collection trough is adjacent to the tank, which is kept empty at the end <br />of daily operation. The tank, trough, transfer pump and inlet fitting to the tank all <br />have secondary containment trays or tank made of steel. <br />Visual inspection of containment area: Inspection of the secondary containment <br />interstice found it dry with no evidence of leakage. <br />Secondary Containment findings: The secondary containment system is of <br />sufficient capacity and condition for the containment of releases from all Ipnks <br />and ancilla <br />Site Security: <br />Initials: <br />The site is located on the Stockton Airport Grounds and is patrolled by the <br />Stockton Police Department. <br />Discrepancies: <br />The following items need correction. <br />1. Waste collection trough requires secondary containment. <br />2. The oil transfer pump requires secondary containment. <br />3. The oil line tank entry nozzle requires secondary containment <br />4. The tank requires grounding. <br />5. Overfill protection needs checking and calibration. <br />6.
