The spray paint cans were placed in <br />the appropriate hazardous waste container. <br />113) A new system was implemented in October of 2015 to ensure that manifest copies are sent <br />to DTSC within 30 days of shipping hazardous waste. All manifest copies have been sent to <br />DTSC on a timely basis since it was initiated. <br />303) The outdoor storage container has been cleaned. Photos are attached. <br />402) The manufacturer has provided third party certification that the packaging is compatible with <br />all wastes for which they are being used at this site. A copy of the certification is attached. <br />403) This issue was corrected on site during the inspection. The container was closed properly. <br />607) This issue was corrected on site during the inspection. The damaged lead acid battery was <br />placed in the appropriate hazardous waste container. <br />608) This issue was corrected on site during the inspection. The container was labeled as <br />"drained used fuel filters." <br />709) This issue was corrected on site during the inspection. All employees, including temporary <br />employees, receive universal waste training as part of the hazardous waste training. <br />Specific mention of Universal Waste training has been added to the job details. <br />714) As clarification, all aerosol are sorted for incompatibility. Any aerosols with incompatible <br />constituents are segregated and managed appropriately in a separate container. This could <br />not be demonstrated at the time of the inspection, as aerosols with incompatible <br />constituents are rarely received at the facility. <br />
