Can you please let me know what phone number that you faxed this letter to so that I can ensure we are receiving your letters. In reviewing our file of exemptions, I show nothing coming from San Joaquin County for the entire year of 2006, if you have issued other letters please provide us with copies of those letters so that we can ensure that this does not occur again. I am also interested in the specifics of this case, as the intent of the LEA Exemption Letter was to assist the property owner where tires were illegally abandoned or disposed of. If the generation of waste tires was due to the business practice of that company, that should be a cost of doing business otherwise it would be construed to be an unfair business practice to others in the same occupation.
