The property owners wish to Implement this work plan during the .week of <br /> August 14, 1995. <br /> Background <br /> On September 16,1993.a two-thousand(2,000)gallon gasoline storage tank was removed from <br /> the site. The tank partially buried in the ground to a depth of about two (2) feet. During <br /> removal, the tank was observed to be free of holes and there was no apparent sign of petroleum <br /> contamination in the excavation hole. A representative of Public Health Services for San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) was present during the removal and <br /> subsequent soil sampling. <br /> Two soil samples were taken approximately two (2) feet below the invert of the tank (depth <br /> approximately four (4) feet), at each end of the tank, as required'.
